Language
The language of the interface, buttons and explanations.
Interface language
Your choice is saved on this device and applies to every screen at once.
Gameplay
These decide which cities appear and how many points you earn.
City type
Capitals only, or every city in the catalogue.
Difficulty
Easy ×0.9, medium ×1, hard ×1.15 with less familiar cities.
Timer
Off scores by distance only. On adds a speed bonus.
Round time limit
When time runs out the guess is sent automatically (or scores zero if no pin was placed).
Country filter
Narrowing to a smaller set of countries lowers the score (×0.85 and up) because guessing is easier.
Map & appearance
How the game looks on your screen.
Map style
A spinning globe or a flat map — scoring is the same in both.
Theme
"System" follows your device's dark or light mode.
Celebrations
Confetti at the end of a game or on a high score. Turning it off does not affect scoring.
Reduce motion
Turns off animations and transitions — calmer and safer for motion sensitivity.
Sound
Short effects for guesses, bullseyes and map clicks.
Sound effects
Volume
Affects game effects only, not your device media.
